Expired domain

After the registration of a domain has expired, it goes through several phases. Here they are with the period of each phase:
  1. It can be renewed by its owner at the same price (from 0 to 36 days, depending on the domain type).
  2. It can be renewed by its owner at about 5-6 times the price (about 30 days).
  3. Preparing for release for new registrations (up to 5 days).
  4. The domain is free for new registrations at the standard price and by anyone.

For .com, .net, .org and .info domains, the period in which you can renew a domain at the same price (phase 1) is 36 days.

For .eu domains registered after 15.09.2014. the period in which you can renew them at the same price (phase 1) is 27 days.
It is possible that a registration request was submitted for your domain by someone else (backorder) even before it expired. The procedure for its implementation will begin as soon as your domain expires, and some of the specified phases may be skipped.

If you care about your domain - don't let it expire!
